Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virt-manager

Hello,

I'm following the advice I found here
[http://tombuntu.com/index.php/2008/04/14/virtualization-with-virt-
manager-and-kvm-in-ubuntu-804/] and here
[http://www.greenhughes.com/content/virtualisation-with-kvm-and-
virtmanager-kubuntu-804] to set up a virtual Windows XP on my Ubuntu
8.10 system. Everything works fine until I actually begin the
installation of the virtual XP.

As my attached screenshot indicates, I am getting a persistent message
that "Setup cannot read the CD you inserted." It should be noted that
this error occurs as the XP setup is initiated, not after the first XP
reboot, which is another bug [https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238692]

The CD Rom device is mounted and spinning...

This is a genuine copy of XP that I used before I converted to Ubuntu.

** Affects: virt-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
