Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity-frontend-kde
Basically, I have a fairly standard setup like: /dev/sda1 / 8gb /dev/sda2 swap 1.5gb /dev/sda3 /home 40gb I downloaded the Kubuntu daily live ISO (20081218.2), and tried the installer, but I couldn't edit partitions (no dialogue box came up when I clicked edit, either from the button down the bottom, or the right- click menu). Also, I tried to simply delete and replace sda1 and sda2, thinking I could manually set up /home after the install. This worked ok for the root partition, but when I created the swap partition, it set the mount point as /home. again, I couldn't manually edit it. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Jaunty kubuntu ubiquity won't manually edit partitions; creates swap wrong https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/309534 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
