I had the same issue and and resolved using this workaround http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=5299611&postcount=11
As indicated there I renamed .openoffice.org directory (not file) in Home directory. When Open Office launchs again generates a new directory and the problem is fixed. Anyhow I expect this problem to be automatically detected and fixed, and that is why i think this bug should stay opened Answering Chris, when Open Office is in an "ill" maximized state, hiting Esc key doesnt help. ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- new windows in full screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263477 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
