I have the same problem, using 8.04. After playing a Flash video in firefox or totem, no audio in rhythmbox. Have to restart rhythmbox to get audio again. Also seen it vice versa i.e. have to restart firefox after playing audio in rhythmbox in order to get audio again in firefox.
