Hi,

using Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) with a german keyboard layout, it isn't 
possible to use the "Alt Gr" Key in Java Applications.
"Alt Gr" + "SomeOtherButton" -> SomeOtherButton, for example "Alt Gr" + "8" -> 
8 (normaly I get '[' ). The bug is somehow related to SCIM (see below). 

I knew there are some other Bug reports on launchpad concerning SCIM,
but most of them only talks about Asian signs. Maybe American layout
users don't have the bug I'm talking about, don't know. But for sure
everybody else. I also found a fix for me on launchpad from a user with
a quiet similar problem, but the report was wrong tagged and limited to
netbeans.
