Binary package hint: gnome-media
Figuring out the correct mixer settings can sometimes be real pain with
modern sound cards that have all the bells and whistles. Maybe it would
be possible to show user something that helps him figure out which
channel would produce sound, if he changed the setting and also which
channel is producing sound. The latter helps when the user forgets to
plug in the speakers.
