** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg

On my laptop, I am using two screens : the screen of the laptop and an
external screen. I have a desktop on each screen and the mouse can move
  from one to another.

With Dapper, everything worked fine. On Edgy, I have my two desktops
working. I can move the mouse from one to another. But on the second
screen, I have no cursor but a big black colored square (I can move it
and even start applications if I am lucky with it but it is really
  annoying...). I am using KDE.

Update : I recently found bug 54680. It is similar. I also use a radeon
card. With the SWcursor option in xorg.conf, I solve the problem of the
square but the mouse is messing up the screen... It is even worse.

- Update : also bug 23902.
