The bug is still an issue, and in fact a quite annoying one. I have permanently 
downloaded the updates, but there wasn't a significant change in the behaviour. 
About the comment of Sebastien Bacher (sorry for the late response. Somehow I 
missed that comment): when should I look into those files? I guess only 
directly after the unsuccessful user change it makes sense, right? And what 
kind of message should I look for?
I would already be happy if someone could suggest a workaround. Is there a 
command to refresh the screen, or something like that?
