Public bug reported:

Pressing CTRL+C to copy files on the Gnome desktop or within Nautilus
crashes Gnome and does a logout to the GDM. Pressing CTRL+C to exit a
program within the Gnome-Terminal crashes Gnome and does a logout to the
GDM, too. Sometimes with a heavy screen flickering and multiple
resetting of the GDM. Happens with Jaunty Alpha, Kernel
2.6.28-2-generic, and Gnome 2.24.1. Strangely enough this does not
always happen, but randomly! Copying with the mouse works without
problems.

     Importance: Undecided
