@Tormod Thanks for the tip, however I have Hardy and I don't really feel like upgrading, not even to Intrepid. At the same time I have checked the xserver-xorg-core 1.5.3 but in order to just install on Hardy I'd need to upgrade quite a bunch of other packages as well and there is no guarantee that it will work. Any other possibility to try it out?
As far as I understood it is much easier to mark a report duplicate in case if it turn out that it is. Therefore, just to make things clear(er), do you think I should open a new bug report?
