@maleadt, let us know if you are able to test the old version of the
driver on ubuntu again.

@everyone else - again, the overflow error is a _generic_ error message
and doesn't mean you're seeing the same bug as maleadt.  Please don't
comment on maleadt's bug report since it just distracts from his issue,
and your issue won't get reviewed.  Report a NEW bug, and reference this
bug 276518 if you like, but most of the time these bugs are due to
unrelated causes.
