Public bug reported:
Gnutls as supplied with stable Ubuntu (8.04) currently is version 2.0.4.
However, many packages, including mod_gnutls, need at least 2.4.2
Most recent version available on GnuTLS's site is even 2.6.2
2.4.2 is on one hand recent enough for gnutls, and on the other hand old
enough to still compile with the rest of packages (gcrypt) in 8.0.4
