Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am marking this as invalid because the package in Ubuntu *is* deluge-torrent, so renaming it is not an option. If you install programs from outside the Ubuntu repositories, it is advisable that you uninstall them before installing the Ubuntu version. Changing the name on the Ubuntu package would not fix this, even if we were willing to do it.
Also, for future reference, your use of "incomplete" status was improper, and likely prevented the appropriate eyes from paying attention to this bug earlier. Here is the description of "incomplete". I am only looking at this bug on account of the last bullet point: # If you have to ask the reporter questions, set the bug to Incomplete # Ask the submitter to provide any necessary information in a comment, and make sure you subscribe yourself to the bug report so you will get any updates to the bug via e-mail. # In the event that a bug has been in the "Incomplete" state for more than 4 weeks, meaning it has not received a response to a request for more information, the bug status should be changed to "Invalid" ** Changed in: deluge-torrent (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- [wish] Rename deluge-torrent ubuntu package to deluge-torrent-ubuntu (or other solutions to avoid package name errors and problems) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
