I have not yet upgraded to 8.10 Intrepid, but I'm planning on doing that this month.
However, I haven't experienced the bug recently -- But I'm now I'm running Linux hedwig 2.6.24-22-generic #1 SMP Mon Nov 24 18:32:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux. I suppose it might have been fixed. I'll post on here if it happens again.
