Socrates, can you then file another bug report for the booting problem for 8.10, as chances are the display problem was fixed for you in that version, but until we can get you booted we cannot verify that. Also CalcProgrammer1, we need your info as you are the original reporter please as soon as possible as after 4 weeks at the most, bugs are marked Invalid, and without your info we cannot verify that the other users on this report are experiencing this problem from the same root cause.
