If you close the bug, then I'd have to open another one when I next experience this bug. I've provided backtraces, and the current request is to run gdb ALL THE TIME which isn't really feasable, _just_to_make_sure_ that eds isn't crashing, despite the fact that every respawned user process I've seen shows up at the bottom of ps with a much higher PID. While that's not scientific, its what I'm able to provide, other than the fact that this is still a bug present in the latest version of Ubuntu with all updates applied.
