Okay. I’ve created and tested an openafs 1.4.8 package for Ubuntu, and
uploaded it to my PPA:

Russ: when you get around to putting 1.4.8 in Debian, it would be
convenient if we used the same orig tarball. I generated it using
`debian/rules get-orig-source`.
