I have yet to try intrepid, but thought I'd let you know that the kernel update 2.6.24-22 on Hardy has got us to the point where we were in Gutsy shortly after this was labeled as 'fix released'
That is :- With the default user - everything is almost perfect (with the exception that an affected screensaver will not preview full-screen *the first time* clicked (eg 4d hypertorus) and at least one (BioF) will also not preview within the 'screensaver preferences' window if opened with that screensaver already selected. When re-selected (both in windowed and full-screen preview, everything behaves ok Also, Hypertorus is still red, not multi-coloured.
