Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10. After installing updates from proposed yesterday, I cannot connect anymore to my wireless network at home. My configuration: Router: Zyxel 2602HW Wireless card: Intel 2200BG (driver: ipw2200) Wireless network: WPA Personal (TKIP) I did not try other networks, as they are not available (I'm not allowed to connect to my neighbors) Before the updates, connecting was no problem. apt-cache policy network-manager network-manager: Installed: 0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1.8.10.1 Candidate: 0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1.8.10.1 Version table: *** 0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1.8.10.1 0 500 http://nl.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-proposed/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://nl.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- NM is not able to connect to WPA network (and maybe cannot connect at all to wireless) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303409 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
