I can not reproduce this here. A new version, 0.9-1, has been released and uploaded to Debian Unstable and Ubuntu Jaunty. I have backported this package to both Hardy (8.04 LTS) and Intrepid (8.10) in my PPA. Could you please try the package there and see if your issue continues?
