Public bug reported:

I could not help but notice that any time I use the Nautilus program and type
"J" it conflicts with the other features. For example if you open a large
window and wish to scroll down the large amount of items by spelling out or
typing the items first letter of two. If any of those letters include the
letter "J" it throw's you out of the window into a new window.

Also if you are creating a new file. As soon as you name it, if your
name includes the letter "J", it will throw you out of naming the new
folder and into a new window. It appears to be impossible to name any
item with a "J" in it like "James," unless you are using the terminal.

This also happens when renaming. To include a CTRL + J would be most
helpful. Otherwise maybe there is a way to deactivate it. Serious bug.

I am running Ubuntu Linux
