Is it really warranted to diverge from Debian just to drop a transition package? A request to remove the binary package has also been filed in Debian (linked now); it seems to me that the package should be removed from Debian and allowed to trickle into Ubuntu.
As the package has had 2 NMUs (and 0 maintainer uploads) in 3 years, I think an NMU for this bug is also in order. If you would care to follow up to the Debian bug according to the NMU procedure (provide patch, declare intent, etc.), I'd be happy to take it from there to get the package NMUed. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #321826 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=321826 ** Also affects: linux-atm (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=321826 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- Patch to remove atm-dev https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269683 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
