I have the same problem. After 20-30min or so of running a torrent program, my machine will completely freeze, whether or not i'm using any other software. I've tried both transmission and azureus. Ubuntu Studio 8.04 on a Dell Inspiron 5150 Nvidia GeForce Go video card Nvidia closed driver
