Yes! I finally got Bluetooth working ( kind of). I added blueman's repo and updated the bluez 4 stack ( I think it is version 20), and presto! Bluetooth works for the first time on my laptop in intrepid! There are a few problems, however. For one, the statusbar icon disappears after my first connection. To solve this problem, restart the Bluetooth service, and you should be good to go. I figured out how to make intrepid ask for a passkey. I'm not at my ubuntu box right now, but you have to edit the hcid.conf and remove 1234 from the "default passkey for incoming connections" section (you should leave the quotes there). Bluetooth should work at this point!
