actually, OBEX FTP and OBEX PUSH are two different methods to access bluetooth enabled device. The last doesn't require pairing and just ask to accept or decline an item. Seems that 8.10 Intrepid doesn't have such ability "out the box" and I can't find (still but not totally) sjutable package providing the functionality needed. So I consider it kind a problem.
