@mas, you have a different graphics card than Matthias, and your Xorg.0.log doesn't show a backtrace. In fact you attached a log that appears to have been from running -vesa, not -fglrx. If you're still having a problem with it, please file a new bug with correct information (you can do this using the command `ubuntu-bug fglrx-installer`).
