Additional information: The mousepointer does not move to the bottom part of the screen, but the X-Y coordinates seems to work... this means that I can not really see where the mouse points, unless I can see some part of the desktop highlight, indicating that it is there where the action will be :) So - this is bugging me quite a bit now. Switching to the fglrx driver seems not to be an option either, as it is indicated that it ignores the "forcemindotclock" directive needed to render the output to my SCART connected TV.
