I'm using Hardy and I've got the problem as well. But I think it's more than "low" priority because it concerns more than just the resizing info. A lot of things are rendered like think. For example: selecting text in firefox then drag it in somewhere has the same effect. Another example is the legend in compiz windows thumbnail preview. etc..
