System ran for 36 hours but I failed to re-start to check xorg.conf - so no surprise first the OS crashed as it started up, when it finally ran the screen resolution reverted to 1024 x 768 instead of the 1260 x1024 which had been set in NVIDA current xorg.conf attached. Clearly a clean install does not solve the problem, have suffered one additional crash since.
