Besides the libkateinterfaces.so.0, kscope also links agaist libkateutils.so.0, and no libkateutils exists in Intrepid, at least in my installation.
It seems to me that although kscope depends on KDE3 libraries, it has not made that specific in it's 'requires' packages.
