Excuse me, I just read the comments RE: package fix, but it does not fix the problem.. As a separate forum suggestion, I previously added to my sources.list (but this did not fix the bug):
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/network-manager/ubuntu intrepid main ...and after reading the above comments, I also added the intrepid- proposed to sources.list (but I did not see network-manager updated, I assume the above network-manager source entry already did that?). THIS BUG STILL EXISTS. What can I provide to help fix this? This VPN connection worked for half a year until I updated to 8.04 to 8.10.
