This is not a failure of foomatic-rip, but of Ghostscript. It is
upstream http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=690122, The bugs is
already fixed by the upstream developers and the patch also applied to
the Jaunty package of Ghostscript (version 8.63.dfsg.1-0ubuntu7).
I mark this bug as fixed for now, as in Jaunty it should work. Please
nominate for Intrepid if you like to have it fixed there, too.
