I'm having the same issue (Quickcam Messenger) - Bus 004 Device 005: ID 046d:08f0 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Messenger
I can detect and use the inbuilt microphone, but video doesn't work. I have a TV Capture card, (this might be inter-fearing with it, however i have two Video Devices detected.
