Easier way: sudo apt-get remove python-setuptools sudo apt-get install python-setuptools
I think I had this upgrade problem, because I had manually updated easy_install. The upgrader bailed oumt (never offered reboot option), but the computer could be succesfully restarted. However, unless you manually fix this, you'll have package manager errors all the time. -- package python-setuptools 0.6c9-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: pycentral pkginstall: not overwriting local files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292785 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
