Hi all, I have the same problem with Kubuntu Intrepid.
The problem is solved configuring network manually. * First remove all NetworkManager packages: sudo apt-get remove network-manager network-manager-kde *After, edit the file /etc/network/interfaces (change address by yours): auto lo eth0 iface lo inet loopback iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 *Finally, reboot or restart network: sudo service networking restart I wish this will help you meanwhile this problem is solved. Bye. -- knetworkmanager under kde4 doesn't recognize the static IP connections that I have configured. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280762 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
