Thank you all for confirming this disjointed (unbalanced), erratic volume control issue. I am glad to hear that it's not only my hardware (Samson Audio - C01U USB Microphone) but many USB devices suffering from this issue. Must have taken me 20 attempts to get both channels up to 80. Is there any possibility that this bug can be assigned/escalated to be fixed in Intrepid or Jaunty?
