I applied the patch inside the pulseaudio source package, which is called pulseaudio_0.9.10-2ubuntu9.diff.gz. But that didn't compile, so I fixed a function prototype / definition mismatch, and then it worked.
That said, I can no longer reproduce any differences between the prepackaged pulseaudio daemon and my own compiled one. Now the only problems I have occur when I log in. I always have to do "killall pulseaudio" and then restart it manually. (Previously, this didn't solve the problem; now it does. I don't know what changed.) Got any debugging suggestions? I know how to use gdb, etc. (I haven't had time to spend hours on this though...) -- pulseaudio package has broken build https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/295864 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
