Dear tetsuo__shima, Thank you very much for your help. I managed to fix the problem fully with your help. I am also now managing to send a reply through ubuntu firefox. This problem was a real niusance, probably caused by microsoft since ubuntu is a more stable system and they are trying to put stumbling blocks. I am a bit green when it comes to linux but starting to get used to ubuntu now.
