Hello, guys. I have exactly the same problem. To reproduce: Open gedit with a text file. Press SHIFT+Right and wait. After some time as text being selected the selection gets replaced by some symbols and dmesg reads ... [123054.560783] atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0xe0 on isa0060/serio0). [123054.560795] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e060 <keycode>' to make it known.
uname -r prints 2.6.27-7-generic I am using Ubuntu 8.10.
