Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
The Shared Folders menu option does not exist in System -> Administration. 1. Up to date Intrepid from fresh install. 2. Look for System -> Administration -> Shared Folders (as indicated in Help) 3. Instead, right-click Folder in Nautilus, select Share Folder... 4. Install Samba bits. 5. Logout/Login. 6. Notice that Shared Folders is still missing. /usr/bin/shares-admin does exist and it launches the Shared Folders tool as expected. ** Affects: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Shared Folders Administration Tool missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297847 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
