i have the same problem if anyones interested. im using the latest fglrx driver with an ati radeon hd3850 and a phenom 2.3 ghz quad. sometimes xorg takes over an entire core and causes the computer to become nearly unusable. my laptop with a 2.5 ghz intel and the mobile ati radeon hd 3650 has none of these problems despite an identical driver setup. any ideas would be appreciated attached is a version of the error described above.
