With Ubuntu 8.04 I have done all troubleshooting and with help from the Dutch forum but it didn't solve the problem. Also if there is a solution with troubleshooting than it is still a bug because the sound have to work out of the box.
After I did this (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems) troubleshooting the sound still not work.
