Public bug reported: After adding the dictionary widget to the KDE4 panel, it appears to be OK until I try to use it. I can clear the "Enter a word to define here" prompt, but it won't allow me to enter a word if I have a window up that has focus. If I minimize all windows, I can type a word, but the widget doesn't have a response.
If I add the widget to the desktop, it works as expected. But this is highly inconvenient, since I have to minimize all windows to get to it. Unless I'm missing some key combination that can bring up and hide the dashboard easily. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 This is a fresh install of Kubuntu 8.10. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Dictionary widget on panel non functional in KDE4 on Kubuntu 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297500 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
