Thank you for reporting this bug. I tried to replicate this bug by disabling my network connection. After doing so, the buddy list goes blank and provides an error message with a reconnect button. After re- enabling the network connection, Pidgin automatically detects the connection and logs in. Any open IM windows will display the recipient as (Offline) and I am unable to send messages. I'm using Pidgin 1:2.5.2-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 8.10 2.6.27-7-generic.
Can you replicate this bug by manually disabling and re-enabling your network connection, or does it only occur for crashes? When your Internet connection crashes, do you see any of the behavior I described above? Do you see the disconnected message with the reconnect button, or does Pidgin appear to be still connected? -- Pidgin doesn't auto-relogin when internet connection crashes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296695 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
