This means the module isn't loaded at all. First check if your stick really needs this module and not another. The device we are talking about should be visible with "lsusb" like "Device 002: ID 15a4:9016". Try this. If you have the same, then try "sudo modprobe dvb_usb_af9015". If you get something like "module not found" then look if the file /lib/modules/2.6.27-8-generic/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/dvb- usb/dvb_usb_af9015.ko exists.
