Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: manpages

When trying to run man page on any package, following message is
displayed:

$=> man man
Reformatting man(1), please wait...
/usr/bin/nroff: line 95: /usr/bin/groff: cannot execute binary file
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/bmynars]
$=>

When running 'file' on /usr/bin/groff, following is seen:
$=> file /usr/bin/groff
/usr/bin/groff: data

groff does not appear to be a binary which is the reason for the error.

This wasn't the issue in the previous release of UBUNTU (6.06.1 LTS). I
am having problems with the latest releaes (6.10).

** Affects: manpages (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
