For example, http://debian.cs.binghamton.edu/debian/pool/main/i/ifuse/ clicking on the appropriate .deb file for your architecture will invoke the Gdebi installer and install the package. iFuse is still very much beta and you are correct, Ubuntu can not support this package. However, you can obtain support from the people who created iFuse itself.
