I started having this same problem when I upgraded from Hardy to Intrepid. I tend to run into the bug when using vim, especially when searching for text. When I enter a search term and hit enter, nothing changes on the screen (it doesn't redraw). Clicking on the title bar causes the screen to redraw, and display the expected text.
Sometimes I get a partial redraw of the window; this usually occurs wherever the terminal window overlaps (is on top of) another window. The rest of the window doesn't redraw. In any of these cases, hitting Control-L doesn't fix the problem -- it seems to be unaffected by keystrokes or any output from the terminal. Only clicking the title bar consistently redraws the window. -- Redraw trouble https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99038 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
