I believe i am suffering from the same bug. I connect fine to my office WiFi but i loose the connection after 5 or 10 minutes and must reconnect again. This problem started when i upgraded to Intrepid from Hardy.
It is an Eduroam network http://www.eduroam.org/ WPA/WPA2, EAP-TTLS, PAP using driver iwl3945 the problem persists when using the old Hardy 2.6.24 kernel and Intrepid 2.6.27. The problem persists when using the network-manager PPA mentioned above.
