Since the Live CD doesn't retain the contents of the Gnome keyring after
a reboot, there is little use to save information in it in the first
place. I am annoyed that every time I run the Live CD and connect to a
wireless network, I am asked for a Gnome keyring password.

As a proof of concept, I deleted /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon and
Network Manager runs just fine, without asking for the extraneous
password any more.
